Ideal for cyclists looking for comfort

Fantastic location right next to the trail! The hotel had a bike fix station outside which was super helpful for my ride.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but worth it in the end.

Additionally, the staff's response to these issues was underwhelming, impacting the overall experience.

I enjoyed my stay at Fairfield Inn in Cumberland. The location is fantastic, right next to the C&O Canal, perfect for biking. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed, which I appreciated after a long day of cycling. Staff were friendly and genuinely helpful, especially during check-in. Breakfast had plenty of options—hot waffles, yogurt, fruits, and scrambled eggs. I thought the quality was good. However, I did notice some wear in the furnishings and the bathroom grout needed attention. Housekeeping could have been a bit more thorough since Trash hadn't been emptied from the previous guests during my stay. Also, the coffee during breakfast was rather weak, not quite strong enough to kickstart my morning. Overall, despite the minor issues, I found it a great spot for cycling enthusiasts and wouldn't hesitate to return.

The King Room was super comfy, with a nice view of the creek. Bathing areas were spacious and bright, and the overall cleanliness was on point. Though I could fit my bike in the room, it felt a bit tight. The noise from the fridge was annoying at night, but everything else was great!

My family and i had a great experience at the hotel in cumberland. Everything felt fresh and inviting, surpassing our last stay here. The staff was helpful, and the breakfast selection was a good way to start our mornings.

room had weak water pressure

Had an awesome group getaway! We hit up the Allegany County Fairgrounds and played some golf nearby. The hiking and biking trails were perfect for outdoor fun. Our rooms had 32-inch LCD TVs, keeping us entertained after a long day. Breakfast was solid, with plenty of options. Definitely would suggest this place for friends looking to hang out together!

Only downside was the coffee at breakfast. It wasn't strong enough for my taste, which was a bit disappointing.

I loved having direct access to the bike trail right off the hotel! The indoor pool was such a relaxing treat after a long day. Breakfast was a total winner with diverse options like fresh fruits and even quiche!

Absolutely loved the bike washing station and tools right next to the Towpath trail! 🚴‍♂️ It made my cycling trip so much easier. The only downside was the noisy fridge at night. Overall, a great stay!
